A quick disclaimer to my subscribers and followers that are not local; you’re welcome to peruse the shop information below or skip this read, as it doesn’t pertain to you. Please take one thing with you - shop local in your community this season!
Megan and I have so many darn fantabulous recommendations we had to split them up by town. This newsletter features Cobourg, Ontario and their fantastic selection of small and medium sized businesses we think you should support this season.
Pink Lemon Decor - An excellent alternative to shopping at HomeSense, this home decor shop has a surprising large collection of candles, artwork, mirrors and they also offer fresh flowers and a make your own bouquet station. Located at 43 King Street West.

Nourish Boutique Spa - If you have a beauty lover on your shopping list, Nourish has holistic and organic clean beauty products for the body and soul. This award winning spa has the most relaxing treatments for anybody on your list. 10/10 would recommend buying a gift card for a friend or making an appointment for yourself. Located at 727 William Street.

The Awesome Olive - Head on into the Awesome Olive for an unparalleled selection of olive oils & balsamic vinegar. There are different ages, types, flavourings, and infusions and everyone I’ve tried has been delicious. Bottled fresh right in front of you after tasting the experience is just as amazing as the gift you get to take home. They also order small sample sets, which would make an ideal hostess gift or stocking stuffer and are great for the indecisive shopper! Located 884 Division Street.

Quinns Blooms & Greenery - they take gifting, cards and decor seriously. AND, THEY HAVE PLANTS! They also have fresh cut flowers but you already knew that. They’ve got the best selection of house plants, macramé hangers for those house plants and the coolest, most vast collection of plant pots to match any room in your home. During the holidays they have candles, Christmas ornaments and festive decor like garlands, wreaths and greens for your outside urns. Located at 277 Division Street.

Mercury Chocolates & Gelateria - Spoiler: They have amazing chocolate, but on top of that, they also offer an incredible selection of fresh pasta that would make even the most discerning Italian mother-in-law happy on Christmas Eve. And, don’t forget their custom roasted coffee beans! If you have a coffee lover in your house, they are going to be happy you drew their name this year! Located 53 Albert Street.

Bonbon Vintage Collective - Step back into the year 2000 when you visit Bonbon! A impeccably curated collection of clothing, toys, stickers and collectables from your millennial childhood. This place is a smile in store form. I dare you not to squeal with delight while you’re there! Located at 249 Division Street.

With All My Art - Famous for her birch tree art, With All My Art has a ton of other great gifts for your Mom, quirky Aunt or family friends. You can find unique cards, trendy napkins, small pieces of furniture, framed art and home decor items. Pop in to see this colourful space and discover something new. Located at 48 King Street West.

Spark Toys - Smart Toys for Cool Kids. The best toy store around that focuses on quality, engaging toys that would see years of play. Representing some of the best brands, trends and books, this shop has something for any aged child!
